This week Cristian had picture day at school and even though he was sick, he was very excited to smile:

Pre-Thanksgiving Day

I worked today so C got to spend the day in Mommy's office. He played with toys, ate his lunch and even napped a bit.

Smile for the Camera

Cristian has never been camera shy and is always ready to flash a smile if you are quick enough to catch it. His teachers at school are always great at capturing his fabulous smile:

Santa Baby!

We decided to beat the lines and get our Santa visit in early. We had to hit the mall for a few things anyway so we took the opportunity to give Santa our wish list. I was curious how C would handle his first Santa visit--would he cry? laugh? refuse to leave my arms? pull on Santa's beard like he pulls my hair? Of course, like every other situation in which I assume the worst, he did great. Cristian was mesmerized with Santa's beard. In fact, we had a hard time getting him to look at the camera because he just wanted to stare at the man in the big red suit. Of the 6 photos that Santa's elf took, 4 of them were Cristian staring at Santa with a very severe frown on his face. This was the winner:

All in all, I would say that we got a very good picture. So glad that we have one and I will make sure to keep it forever. As far as Cristian was concerned, it was a very exhausting experience.

Six Months Old!

Cristian's Baptism

Saturday, November 4th was Cristian's baptism. It was a very nice ceremony with many people. We are grateful to those who came, especially our great friends.

First Tooth

October was quite an exciting month--Romania, France, Halloween...and teeth! The first teeth have finally come in. I tried, with limited success, to capture the sharp little buggers on camera but C was none too thrilled to get them caught on camera!

"You want a picture of my teeth? Suuuure, no problem!"

"Okay, okay, no more pictures!"

First Halloween

I am not sure who was more excited about C's first Halloween--him or I. Since he does not understand what was going on around him I am going to say that I took the cake on the excitement. Excited I was! I bought him a Dinosaur costume, which was just too cute and I will not be parting with it. It has been added to the "I am going to keep it because I will cry to get rid of it" pile of C's clothing that he has outgrown. We had a good time on Halloween, greeting trick-or-treaters when they came to the door and I even made a couple visits of my own to the neighbors' homes. All in all, I would say it was a very successful outing!
